1980 Winter Olympics

It was the year 1980 in Lake Placid, New York. Herb Brooks and his young 1980 U.S.A Olympic hockey team sat nervously in the locker room, silent. In minutes, they were to play the best hockey team in the world, the USSR. In the last three months, the Soviets had played 42 games, and had 42 wins. They had been world champs in 1964, '68, '72', and 76. They were highly favored to beat the U.S team, huge underdogs.

Yet somehow the U.S.A managed to win that game. What happened? Who scored? This is what my site is all about.
